Morten MadsenFounder, Interscope Engineering

Throughout my career, working across international projects and a wide range of industries, I have seen how important the right technical decisions are to the success of a project.

Complex projects often involve many stakeholders, different technologies and important commercial considerations. In these situations, independent technical expertise can provide valuable perspective and help ensure that decisions are based on actual project requirements, technical facts and practical experience.

This was one of the main reasons I founded Interscope Engineering.

My vision was to create a company that customers could rely on as an independent and trusted technical partner. A company that provides practical advice, asks the right questions and helps identify the solutions that best serve the project and its long term objectives.

Another important part of this philosophy comes from years of commissioning and site experience. I have seen first-hand how equipment arriving on site with incomplete documentation, unresolved technical issues or deviations from agreed specifications can have a significant impact on installation, commissioning and project schedules.

Issues that can often be resolved efficiently during manufacturing or Factory Acceptance Testing can become far more complex and costly once equipment has been shipped and installation has begun.

For this reason, we believe in identifying challenges as early as possible. Thorough technical reviews, inspections and FAT activities are not just project milestones. They are opportunities to protect the customer’s investment, reduce project risk and ensure that equipment is truly ready before it reaches site.

This principle is reflected in everything we do at Interscope Engineering: combining technical knowledge with practical experience, maintaining an independent perspective and always keeping the customer’s objectives at the centre of our work.

Our ambition is simple: to deliver a level of service and reliability that makes Interscope Engineering a partner our customers choose to work with again.
